Andrew did a great job sorting out my windows. I had thought that all the seals needed replacing, but he wasn't out to make a fortune from me and advised the seals were fine and had just come loose. He repositioned all the seals, oiled, adjusted or replaced hinges where necessary and gave me maintenance advice I had never received from the company who initially installed them. He arrived on time, and after an initial chat about what needed to be done, just got on with the job. Happy to recommend him to anyone.

  • It was a pleasure to meet Andrew and discuss my problem windows. Having tried to get some of the better known double glazing window suppliers interested in servicing with no luck, it was great to get in contact with someone prepared to come and look at the problems. Not only look in the end come up with solutions and fix them. No more drafts this year. Again thanks Andrew look forward to you replacing the faulty window. Have already given your contact details to my son so look forward to another call for help.

I am having a lot of condensation in my windows, it is particularly bad in the mornings.

While sleeping most humans give rise to a lot of condensation as they breath, this is caused when you have a different temperature on the outside and inside, you can reduce your condensation by installing vents, but unfortunately there is little more which can be done on the windows, however, here are a few tips to reduce condensation:

  • Try to keep the inside temperature reasonably constant
  • Avoid drying clothes indoors
  • Do not dry clothes over any radiators
  • Ensure tumble driers are properly vented or the condensate is regularly emptied
  • Keep furniture away from walls
  • Do not disable extractor fans
  • Ensure extractor fans are well maintained and adequate
  • There is a large gap at the bottom of the window when I close it, what is causing this?

Gaps when you close pvc windows usually comes from the hinges being stiff or broken, we can replace your jammed or broken hinges for as little as €30 per pair.
